Finding speed quickly in a shifter kart and benefiting from others’ mistakes, Alex was able to win his first Pro Stock Moto race at Sonoma in August. The Red Line Oil Karting Series at Sonoma is home to many of the US’s top shifter kart drivers and Alex is lucky to be able to race with them on a regular basis.
Although Alex is doing less karting given his demanding car schedule, practicing in the shifter kart has been important as it is good physical training and good driver training for the car.
